Modulations is a series of live improvisations of computer processed violin sounds released on CD-R. The music and techniques developed for these studio recordings provide the basis of live improvised performances that combine a variety of real-time processing with projected video. Small web-cams are attached to the violin bow and other sound sources to provide source images for real-time video manipulations.The processing used on the CD was done in Max/MSP. The album contains 9 tracks for a total of 43 minutes of music.
Tracks 2 and 3 from the CD received their premiere on Tom Lopez' FOLDOVER radio program on December 13, 2004.
