The work consists of live improvised electronic music, live video manipulations, and location ambience recordings. In the performance, the location sounds playback as part of the video. As the video playback speed is altered, or the file scratched like a DJ, the connected audio responds. Additional location sounds are triggered from a MIDI keyboard in a Max/MSP program that uses algorithms to automatically diffuse the sounds through multiple speakers installed in the performance space. Special surround patches for the Korg Karma were created to allow live performance to also be manipulated throughout the space.
